Mr. Arguello is an experienced practitioner in the areas of family law litigation, personal injury, malpractice, contract and collection disputes, unfair competition, consumer law and criminal defense. He earned his B.A. degree from San Jose State University (1976) and his law degree from the University of San Francisco (1979). He has served as a Judicial Clerk in the Trial and Appellate Departments of the San Francisco Superior Court, where he drafted court decisions for publication. He also incorporated and was co-founder of a non-profit Legal Intern and Education program partially sponsored by the San Francisco Bar Association, the Hewlitt Foundation and the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Foundation.

Prior to coming to Fremont, Mr. Arguello was in private practice in Contra Costa County. He was primarily involved in civil and domestic trial and appellate work. He also drafted and administered pension plans and other employment benefits. He was a consultant on the design and implementation of group and prepaid legal service programs.

Mr. Arguello has worked for the Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County and has taught civic classes in the education department of San Quentin Prison. He is qualified to practice before the California Supreme Court and the U.S. Federal Court. Presently, Mr. Arguello is a member of the Washington Township Bar Association, the Alameda County Bar Association and the California Trial Lawyers’ Association.

Larry is an avid golfer. He currently resides in Fremont, California, with his wife and two dogs.
